It's been a good while since I recorded a video, so I thought this would be the best way to address all of these issues. If you already are confident in how to apply nail polish, and want to skip watching the video, that's fine! Here's the shortcut: I use Duri Rejuvacote as my base coat. I use Seche Vite quick drying top coat faithfully. I buy Seche Vite at my local Sally's Beauty Supply, but I buy Duri Rejuvacote from the girls over at Ninja Polish. (Here for $8) I've heard rumor that it's going to be available at Walmart soon, so I'm excited to see if that's true or not.

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the video! I have one question though, how do you avoid bubbles under the topcoat? I sometimes find that I get bubbles (air bubbles?) under my topcoat. I've tried applying the topcoat while polish is wet and when it's dry, but they still appear.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's not just with one kind of top coat either. I've gotten them with China Glaze Fast Forward Topcoat (worst offender, doesn't happen always, but most often) and my Orly Won't Chip topcoat, (still happens, but a lot less often) The only one I don't have a problem with is my cheapest topcoat, which is NYC Matt me Crazy topcoat.
